I'm gonna be a super model.....

I love taking pictures of the kids! Olivia has all the sudden turned into this girl who loves getting pictures taken of her self too, as you can see here. BUT my favorite are the ones like this one of jack where you just get them being, them. I love his eyes I think they are amazing, I hope not too many girls notice them when he gets older! =)

the tree

Mike and the two oldest went out saturday and got a tree. I told Livy to pick a good one because she had to represent the girls of the family. Of course she did a great jobs and yes mike said it was HER who picked the tree. Its moments like these that I know I am teaching her to be a proper women, I mean we all need to make sure the guys get the tree thing right....right?

Our little Christmas Gift

When I first found I was pregnant I assumed Our little angel would come the beginning of November three weeks early like our other two... as time went on and people would ask " when is your due date?" I would tell them and the response was always.."oh, so maybe by Christmas!" Of course the thought of being pregnant until christmas was something I could not allow my self to consider and I am gratful the Lord knew I maybe would not handle very well. But I have to admit that having a brand new baby with all the feeling and emotions of christmas surrounding him is a wonderful thing. I really do have more sympathy For Mary as she and Joseph went from place to place seeking refugue, Was she in labor all that night? Most women don't have babies in an hour and a half like I did, which makes me wonder, Was there a feeling of panick that this baby was coming and there was not even a safe and warm place for him to be born? As all mothers, I am sure she wanted only the best for her new son....I doubt a stable was what she imagined and yet- It was a safe pace where the savior of the world was born. A place not crowded by other humans, a place where after a long journey she could rest and enjoy the amazing feeling of being a mother to a beautiful new baby. IN many ways as I have reflected on Mary and that amazing Night, I guess I feel closer to her and My savior then I ever have, perhaps having a christmas baby boy could be one of the biggest blessing of My life. I love my Savior and Heavenly father and I am so gratful for the blessings in my life and especially right now Our little Joseph.

Well as Can told you all we had quite the shocker on thursday! I went in at 10;45 to be induced, they really just monitered me until around 12:15. the Dr. came in and broke the water, at 12:45 I was in some pretty good pain so the nurse checked me while mike was out. Yes I was already at a 81/2 and the nurse started running to get everything ready. SO as you can guess there was no epidural for me at this point. I was panicking becuase I thought Mike was not going to make it back, when he finnally did get back ( becuase it felt like forever he was gone- even though it was only 10 mins.) The dr. was behind him, I was at a nine and a contraction later I started pushing. So not only did we have the shock of the quickness of it all, but the whole doing it natural thing AND then the shock of "Congratulations! a big beautiful baby boy" He was SO big and a...HE that I just stared at him and didn't know what to do. Mike had to sit down, he almost passed out and mom ended up cutting the cord. all in all it was a crazy experience that when I look back on I can do nothing but laugh! he is So sweet and very alert. mom has been working around the clock to get every thing switched for us and I am SO grateful for her and all she has done. when we got home at midnight last night the house felt really good and everything was moved and it just feels like in the end this truly was ment to be. so..... here we are. I will share a few more fun moments little Joseph Scott Heller has given us already in the next few days! love you all!

Much to our preconceived notions, Olivia took the news pretty hard. She was pretty dissapointed in the news that her soon little sister had become a little brother. We made a call to her tonight to congratulate her in hopes to excite her with the newest addition to the family. The conversation went something like this...

Carianne: Hi Olivia, how are you?
Olivia: Good!
Carianne: Congrats on your little brother!
Olivia: Thank You.
Carianne: Were you surprised?
Olivia: Yes, the Dr. said it was going to be a girl, but he was wrong. It was a boy. He should of checked the internet first!

Naturally I bust up laughing, but continued to ask questions.

Carianne: How big is he?
Olivia: Oh you know, just a little bit smaller than me.
Carianne: When are you going to hold him?
Olivia: Tommorow, and I am staying home from school to go with grandma Somerville to switch the babies room.
Carianne: Oh So you will have your own room?
Olivia: Yes!

Needless to say, I think she is over the shock and getting read for baby " TBD still" to come home!

The Baby Is Here!

HE... yep that's right, HE.... let me say it one more time. HE, not SHE arrived at 1:22 p.m. and weighed in at 8lbs. 9 oz. Mike and Brigette called and were pretty shocked when little Adrianna turned out to be a boy. Name is still to be determined, but they are pretty excited... pictures to come soon!

FINALLY.....

This is Carianne posting on Brigette's behalf... but just an update. Brigette has been admitted! She is natually really excited, and we will keep everyone updated as soon as we know!
