Halloween on Wednesday....

Yesterday was the ward Party so we all got dressed up, jack for the first time. No one still could guess who I was even with Tinkerbell And "happin hook" with me, but thats o.k I guess. The kids had a blast and I can see why Olivia Likes tinker bell so much, I think she somehow realates to her! They both have very sassy stubborn personalities, its funny so Olivia is the perfect Tink.

Last night we carved two of our four pumpkins! I love carving pumpkins and so does Mike, so we were pretty excited about it all week. Well, that is until Jack got four shots, Olivia got one, we ate at taco bell and it made us all sick, so by 8:oo we were wondering if it was really worth it to keep every one up to do carve them or if we should try again on Thursday. you can see our choice- it was fun! We had a boys agaisnts girls contest ( girls won don't you think?) Jack refused to get in and dirty because his legs "hurt to bad" to move, so he just sat there in the middle commenting on everything we did, which drove Olivia CRAZY becuase he was ruining the contest by telling dad our every move! When he did get dirty he had to wipe his hands afterwards. Olivia loved every minute of it and did most of the dirty work for our team, Infact I have never stayed so clean, it was sad for me! lol. It was fun! Even though by nine we were wiped out and both kids were screaming from exaustion, I am glad we went for it!

I realize that the picture at the top of my blog is......beautiful? see I wanted a cute picture up there but as I went through all the pictures from the last year I realized we have very few of us all together and they ALL look like this. In the end its kind of funny becuase you see our personalities.

Mike: so dang handsome but just never willing to give the camera his full smile!
me: yes I am the only one looking directly at the camera and cheezing it...I have now excuse, and I don't feel ashamed about it ethier! =)
Olivia: her class was getting ready to leave and she could not stop for two seconds to get a picture, she was only concerned with what was coming next.
Jack: he is being goofy, he is always being goofy, that or crying dramatically.

See, so I We will work on carianne getting us some nice pictures at christmas, but until then, why not show us off for who we really are!

The battle

So today I had a dr. appt. basically nothing has changed from last time I was checked which is good. He told me at this point if I were to go into labor he would not do any thing to stop me. So I guess that is good to....but I am struggling because- now even though I know I shouldn't get up and get every thing done that has been driving me crazy, I really WANT too. Since he didn't say keep up the bed rest I am having this inner battle, every part of me wants to get this baby here.....and then there is mike and a tiny sane part of me that knows its still to early and that the ultimate goal is to have a healthy strong baby, which means stay down for a couple more weeks. Until then I find myself acting like a child and sneaking in cleaning work while Mike is gone, only to feel totally yucky after wards and see his dissapointed face when he comes home. both stink. so yes I may blog every day but I guess thats what a girl has to do when she can't sit still.

you know your pregnant when........

Mike bought a movie for the kids last night. (It was on sale for 5.0o at Target) They were only kind of excited. SO YOU KNOW YOUR PREGNANT WHEN....

Instead of acting like a normal human, you get VERY excited about it- you won't let the kids watch it until YOUR chores are done and then cry through almost the entire movie! I loved almost every cheezy moment of it. I did find myself pretty annoyed at Thumbelina at certain points..she is so wish washy!

BABY SHOWER!

Wednesday night was the baby shower!! since it was the week before Halloween we decided it would be fun to make costumes optional. not that many people dressed up but it was still fun. Olivia was SO excited! She refused to talk only shake her little body, since I but bells all over her tutu and wings she sounded just like Tinker bell. she was CRAZY the whole night, it was very cute of her. She awnsered the door and opened ALL the presents, she even arranged them for me. She ate as many cookies as possible, she even tried her hand at the games. I love her! Anyway here is a picture of her and me and all Adriana's new stuff.

So this week I was supposed to stay "down", you know be on somewhat bed rest. while I admit that I have tried to stay down. mostly what has resulted is uncooked dinners and a messy house. Don't get me wrong, Mike is doing every thing he can to help, but we get so busy there hasn't been time for him to take over my stuff too. so there are going to be three blogs today. one for the pumpkin patch, one for the baby shower and one for yesterday. I feel really good about the amount on staying down I didn't....not really- but, I'll keep trying!
